  • Swelling
  • Loss of strength
  • Limited range of motion
MEASURE OF MUSCLE SORENESS

Evaluated by visual analogue scale

8 x 8-Repetition Maximum (RM)
8 series of 8 half squats lifting an individualized  maximum weight
Day 2 to day 5

OTHER OUTCOMES

Blood samples: measure of acute and mid-term biomarkers of muscle damage

Muscular protection

TensLess® significantly limits the increase of both acute (myoglobin) and mid-term (creatinine and creatine kinase) biomarkers of muscle damage3,4 in the supplemented group.

Relief from induced muscle soreness

DOMS scores decreases in the TensLess® group as soon as 1 hour after the muscle stimulation and were lowered by 28% with the supplementation compared to the placebo group. Associated muscle pain also significantly decreases in the TensLess® group, by 35% over the 4 days following the activity.
